It’s easy to forget just how different and stressful our urban environment can be from their perspective. At Dogma, we’re dedicated to shaping the Urban Canines of tomorrow: well-mannered, confident dogs who can thrive anywhere. In this session, we’ll cover essential concepts and skills to help your dog better understand city life, giving you the tools to guide them into becoming the ideal Urban Canine. 

August 17 Sunday : Dining with your Dog   )

Tired of your dog begging at the table, pacing underfoot, or sneakily snatching food off the counter? If mealtimes are a bit chaotic when your pup is around, this session is for you. Whether you’re dreaming of dog-friendly patio dinners this summer or just want a more peaceful dining experience at home, we’ll help you teach your dog calm, polite behaviour around food. Join us for this fun and practical hour where you’ll learn how to create a well-mannered, relaxed companion you’ll be proud to bring to any meal. 

August 23rd, Saturday: Canine Mensa & Tricks 

Is your dog secretly a genius? You might be surprised! Mental enrichment is essential for a happy, balanced dog, and it's often more tiring than a long walk. In this engaging class, we’ll explore brain games and fun challenges that tap into your dog’s natural intelligence. From identifying colours and solving puzzles to counting and using their senses in unexpected ways, your pup will stretch their brain in the best way possible. Plus, you’ll learn crowd-pleasing tricks that are guaranteed to impress friends and family. Get ready to discover your dog’s inner Einstein!

Class is from 11:30 am-1 pm.  Vin Room West Patio Please come a few minutes early. 

You're welcome to stay afterwards and enjoy the patio.

Attendees should please bring their dogs on a regular 6-8” leash and have small, soft treats for training. No choke, prong or shock collars and no retractable leashes please. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and be people and dog friendly.   

Tickets are non-refundable.  In the event of inclement weather, participants will be notified the day before the event and the event will be rescheduled for the following Sunday.  This is a patio event..  Purchase your ticket and you will receive an email confirmation.  You do not have to pick up a physical ticket after electronic purchase.
